2013 Trends for Diamond Engagement Rings

What’s hot and what’s not this fall season for diamond engagement rings could depend on who you ask.  A lot of couple’s are looking for that unique piece of diamond jewellery when selecting the perfect diamond engagement ring which could leave the traditional white diamond solitaire engagement ring in the jewellery showcase for the later part of 2013. With that being said, let’s take a look at a couple of trendy diamond engagement rings for the fall/winter 2013.

1. Emerald Cut- The elongated cut and style of the emerald stone has been a classic look for some time now and it’s really getting a lot of attention this year when it comes to diamond engagement rings.

2. Cushion Cut- Another style that is really trending this season is the beautiful cushion cut diamond engagement ring. The stone really reflects light brilliantly and it was once considered the most electrifying diamond cut out of all the different cuts available.

3. Oval Cut- Not as traditional as other cuts of diamonds, the oval cut gives a completely different reflection in light than its close counterpart the round cut stone. The difference really is that an oval cut is a more modern cut type of diamond versus traditional round cut stones.

4. Pear Cut- When it comes to a great feminine designed engagement ring, a lot of couples are looking at the pear cut diamond. Seeing is believing when it comes to the pear cut diamond because not only does this cut give the diamond an amazing sparkle, it also gives the look and feel of a vintage cut diamond.
